Managing for Excellence is a half-day employee performance training class that provides a host of best-practice tools to support managers in setting expectations, providing on-going feedback, and targeting the skills needed to support the annual employee performance review process. This is a live training designed to develop staff performance, minimize legal risk, and provide your managers and employees with the feedback structure they need to excel in the workplace.

While specifically targeting the annual employee performance review process, the skills learned here will provide managers with the ability and structure to provide on-going feedback and coaching. This employee performance training program is most powerful when offered to managers who have already attended Managing Within the Law, and is the companion program to Hiring the Best: Interview Training for Managers.Managing for Excellence

Experienced and new executives, managers, supervisors and leads.

Companion Training:

Managing Within the Law
This one-day seminar is mandatory core management training for experienced and new executives, managers, supervisors and leads. Taught by our own employment law trainers since 1987.

Hiring the Best: Interviewing for Top Talent
In this business and legal climate, managers must develop an interviewing strategy that will support them in selecting top talent and avoiding the bad apples, while not creating legal risk.

Respectful Workplace Training
We bring in your organizational values, as well as the values of the participants, to begin the process of creating a respectful workplace.

Harassment Prevention Training
Our programs range from two hours to a full day so that you have a choice of the steps necessary to prevent all forms of discrimination.

This program includes:

Your organization’s policies and procedures, video vignettes, small group discussion, case studies and extensive Q & A. Our instructors are seasoned attorneys, experienced trainers, and skilled facilitators who use personal stories and appropriate humor to make this employee performance training come alive!
